Trezor Warns of a Suspected Spy Implant Inside a Safe 5 Wallet Sold by Third-Party Reseller CryptoBilis
Trezor has warned customers who purchased hardware wallets from reseller CryptoBilis since March 2026 to move their funds immediately after a customer in Indonesia reported finding a suspected cellular implant inside a Trezor Safe 5. The implant reportedly sits between the main board and the screen and can transmit the recovery phrase over a mobile network.
