Bitcoin Anambra will host a physical Bitcoin Bootcamp in Awka from Thursday 26 November to Saturday 28 November, in collaboration with Trezor Academy. Sessions run from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM each day. Admission is free, seats are limited, and attendees must register to take part.
The three days follow a clear path from basics to practice. Day one explains why Bitcoin matters, covering sound money and the network foundations. Day two is hands on, with wallet setup, transactions and safety. Day three covers self custody and personal strategy, and it ends with a graduation ceremony. Attendees who complete all three days receive a certificate.
Trezor Academy brings real experience to the programme. The nonprofit launched in Africa in December 2023 at the Africa Bitcoin Conference in Accra, and its pilot included Nigeria. A June 2026 update reports operations in 32 countries, more than 100 educational programmes and over 2,500 graduates. Its website describes the sessions as free, open to all levels and led by local Bitcoin educators.
The Academy also released a documentary that follows educators and merchants across Sub Saharan Africa who use Bitcoin as a practical tool in daily life.
For people in Anambra who want to learn how to set up a wallet, send Bitcoin and keep it safe, the Awka bootcamp offers local training at no cost. Reserve a seat through the registration link or send questions on WhatsApp to +234 705 313 2283.
