Bitcoin Boma x Trezor Academy Hosts Successful Bitcoin Education & Development Program in University of Malawi

In a major boost for Bitcoin education and adoption across Malawi, Bitcoin Boma successfully concluded its groundbreaking Bitcoin Education & Development Program at the University of Malawi (UNIMA) on March 31, 2026.

The free three-day initiative, organized by the not-for-profit Bitcoin Boma in collaboration with Trezor Academy, delivered practical Bitcoin knowledge to university students eager to understand the economic, social, and environmental benefits of Bitcoin in Malawi.

Overview of the 3-Day Bitcoin Education Journey

The program was designed as a complete hands-on learning experience:

Day 1 – Introduction to Bitcoin, its history, and the fundamentals of sound money.
Day 2 – Practical training on wallets and the Lightning Network, giving students real-world self-custody skills.
