BitKwa and Trezor Academy Host Landmark 3-Day Bitcoin Certification Program in Kwara, Nigeria

The hands-on training equipped participants with essential knowledge on Bitcoin self-custody, culminating in the distribution of Trezor hardware wallets to graduates.
The program, held in Ilorin, Kwara State, focused on practical Bitcoin education, including secure wallet setup, seed phrase management, and the risks of poor custody practices. BitKwa emphasised real-world skills that empower Nigerians to take full control of their Bitcoin without relying on third parties.

Over the three days, attendees engaged in intensive sessions covering Bitcoin basics, self-custody best practices, and the importance of hardware wallets:
- Participants immersed in classroom-style learning. With banners highlighting “Africa Through Bitcoin.”
- BitKwa founder presented Trezor wallets to some successful graduates in heartfelt handover moments.
