We love to say Bitcoin is for everyone. Yet if the education remains locked behind a language barrier that most of the continent cannot comfortably cross, is that claim still true — or is it just a slogan we repeat among those already inside the circle?
The protocol is neutral. The code does not prefer English. The exclusion is human. It is the result of choices we make every day about which languages we prioritize, which content we create, and whose understanding we consider worth the effort.
So here is the question I leave you with, from one African to the rest of us:
If your mother, your uncle in the village, or the market trader who has never set foot in a university cannot learn Bitcoin in the language they dream in, how free is the money we claim will set Africa free?
