The South African edition, organised with a vibrant local “kasi” flavour, will blend education, culture, and hands-on Bitcoin adoption at Zwakala Café in Soweto, Johannesburg.

The event coincides with the global Bitcoin Pizza Day but gives it a distinctly African spin – swapping the original 2010 pizza purchase for kota and sphatlho, iconic South African street foods that symbolise accessible, community-driven Bitcoin culture.
