Bitnob, the payment infrastructure company building on Bitcoin and stablecoin rails, has announced that its developer-focused event Code & Chain is coming to Dakar, Senegal.The two-day gathering will take place on October 17–18, 2026, at the Orange Digital Center in Dakar. It aims to bring together developers, builders, innovators, and Bitcoin enthusiasts for hands-on learning, project building, networking, and competition.

Expanding Across Africa
Code & Chain previously launched successfully in Lagos, Nigeria, in 2025, where it focused on equipping African developers with tools to build real-world Bitcoin and Lightning Network solutions, including payments, remittances, and API integrations. Bitnob has stated its intention to expand the series to multiple African cities as part of a broader effort to grow a strong local developer ecosystem around Bitcoin and open finance.
