Africa Free Routing Announces Ouagadougou Lightning Developer Bootcamp
Africa Free Routing has announced the Ouagadougou Lightning Developer Bootcamp in partnership with Conference Bitcoin Afrique, the second French-language bootcamp in its growing series dedicated to expanding Bitcoin and Lightning development skills across Africa.
The bootcamp will take place in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, from the 12th – 16th April, 2026, bringing together developers, engineers, and Bitcoin enthusiasts interested in learning how to build on the Lightning Network.
Following the success of the first French bootcamp in Cotonou, Benin Republich, this second edition continues Africa Free Routing’s mission to make Lightning development education more accessible to African builders.
Expanding Lightning Education in Africa
Africa Free Routing has been actively organizing Lightning developer bootcamps across the continent to equip developers with the knowledge needed to build scalable Bitcoin applications.
