13-DAY Bitcoin Safari: The Pan-African Bitcoin Tour

COMMUNITY ADOPTION AFRICAN BITCOINERS

Beyond The Conference Stage to Where Bitcoin Actually Lives.

While the rest of the world debates price targets and ETF flows, a convoy of Bitcoiners is currently rolling across four African countries, spedn sats for real food, real goods, and real conversations in communities that already treat and value Bitcoin as money.

The Pan-African Bitcoin Tour.

South Africa’s Bitcoin Ekasi, in collaboration with Gorilla Sats from Uganda, leads a 13-day expedition across four countries; Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and South Africa while visiting their circular economies and spedn sats.

Together they have designed a trip that prioritises conversations over keynotes and observation over speculation.

26ᵗʰ of August, 2026 and is ending on the 7ᵗʰ of September, 2026. The aim is to visit 11 bitcoin circular economies throughout the journey.

What to Expect?

A version of Bitcoin most people never see: merchants accepting Lightning for vegetables and phone credit, kids learning self-custody, educators building circular economies from the ground up, and the occasional mountain gorilla or Victoria Falls sunset thrown in for good measure. No keynote stages. No VIP lounges. Just boots on the ground in the places where adoption is already happening.

The route is deliberately designed to show different faces of African Bitcoin. Uganda opens with gorilla trekking and merchant networks in Kampala. Kenya brings immersion in Kibera’s circular economy experiments. Zambia and South Africa close the loop with further community projects and the original Bitcoin Ekasi ecosystem in Mossel Bay — the place where staff are paid in sats and local shops already run on Lightning.

The Tour's Impact.

In a year when Africa continues to lead global real-world Bitcoin usage, this tour does something rare: it turns observers into participants.

You don’t just hear about circular economies. You walk through them, spedn in them and talk to the people who build them.
