Bitcoin education is reaching new heights in Malawi. Bitcoin Boma, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to spreading Bitcoin awareness, has joined forces with Fedi Inc. to launch an exciting new initiative: “Level Up with Fedi + Bitcoin”.

Under the theme “Community onboarding and empowerment through Bitcoin using the Fedi app”, the programme will deliver hands-on Bitcoin workshops across Malawi’s Northern, Central, and Southern regions.

First Workshop: Chitakale, Mulanje – 9 May 2026

The inaugural event is scheduled for Saturday, 9 May 2026, at Hapuwani Court, Chitakale, Mulanje.
  • Time: 08:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
  • Entry: Completely FREE
  • Requirement: Bring your smartphone for interactive sessions.
This marks the first stop in a nationwide series designed to make Bitcoin accessible to everyday Malawians.

What Participants Will Learn?

The workshops focus on practical Bitcoin knowledge and real-world application. Attendees can expect:

  • Bitcoin fundamentals.
  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with the Fedi super app.
  • Live demonstrations and local use cases of Fedi in Malawi.
  • How to create and manage Fedi communities (Federations).
  • Real-world Bitcoin use cases tailored to the Malawian context.
