Sovereign Stack Hackathon for African Women and BitDevs Meets

The Satoshi Sister Circle has announced on X that the Sovereign Stack Hackathon starts on October 20. African women will build real world Bitcoin solutions, grow as developers and contribute to open source projects.

The organiser is a leadership network for women from Africa and the African diaspora. Its founder, Charlene Fadirepo, is a Bitcoin author and speaker, and the group received grant funding from the Human Rights Foundation in 2025.

Builders in northern Nigeria have a second date to mark. BitDevs Kaduna holds meetup number 21 on October 24, 2026. BitDevs are monthly meetups where people discuss and learn about Bitcoin, and Btrust sponsors 13 of them across Africa, including Kaduna. Anyone who wants to learn, ask questions and meet fellow Bitcoin builders can register on Clooza.
